One of the alternative products preferred by the producers in Denizli, which is known as the fruit warehouse of the Aegean Region, is the persimmon, known as the paradise apple, Trabzon, which was grown for their own needs in some of the orchards, has experienced an increase in demand with the recognition and love of people and has now started to become a sector. It is widely grown in Denizli, in Honaz, Sarayköy, Merkezefendi and Pamukkale Districts. “5 years ago, with the rapid decay of the paradise apple, which was sold at very low prices in the markets, we started to look for alternative methods of evaluation. With the researches we conducted, we dried the paradise apple and started to promote it at Denizli Agriculture Fair. With the increase in demand, as of today, the market finds buyers for approximately 3 liras in age, but 30-35 liras when dried. It goes hand in hand with figs.
